The KISAN DRONE REVOLUTION anchored by Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) aims to promote precision farming in India and make drone technology affordable to the stakeholders of this sector.

Drone Demonstration:

Upto 100% Grant of the cost of drone or Rs. 10 lakhs, whichever is less, available for Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institutes, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) institutes, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVSs) and State Agricultural Universities for Drone Demonstrations.
Upto 75% Grant of the cost of drone available to Farmers Producers
Organizations (FPO’s) for drone demonstrations on Farmers’ fields.
A contingency expenditure of Rs. 6000 per hectare would be provided to
implementing agencies that hire drones instead of purchasing for drone demos.
Contingent expenditure limited to Rs. 3000 per hectare for implementing agencies that purchase drones for demonstrations.
Upto 40 % Grant of the cost of drone and its attachments or Rs. 4 lakhs,
whichever is lesser, is available for drone purchase by Custom Hiring Centers (CHCs) setup by Cooperative Society of Farmers, FPOs and Rural Entrepreneurs.
Upto 50% Grant of the cost of drone and its attachments or Rs. 5 lakhs,
whichever is lesser, is available for drone purchase for Agricultural Graduates.
